Training Videos

The Bigger Picture

The Bigger Picture has been developed in partnership with Narrative Alchemy. This video is a workforce development tool to highlight the importance of a joined-up approach for the benefit of children and their families. It can be used as part of a wider exercise to encourage professionals to consider the impact of services and organisations not being family focussed.

It encourages us to think about the needs of the family through a trauma informed lens. It lends itself to single service training days but also has relevance across a multi-agency platform.

The video follows the story of Taylor who shares her all too familiar situation with us. We all know a Taylor, and hopefully you will be able to use this training resource to reflect on what we need to be doing differently to achieve better outcomes for children and their families.
